Scroll Page Before Next

We are introducing a new setting to ensure respondents fully view content before proceeding to the next page. This is particularly useful for surveys that include mandatory reading material, terms of service, or long instructions.

Enforcing Content Visibility

In the Global Form Settings of the survey builder, you can now toggle the Scroll Page Before Next option.

When this feature is enabled:

  • If a page has a scrollbar and the respondent hasn't reached the bottom, the standard "Next" button is replaced with a "Move Down" button.
  • Clicking the "Move Down" button automatically scrolls the page downwards smoothly.
  • Once the end of the page is reached, the "Next" button appears, allowing the respondent to proceed.
  • This requirement is only enforced on the respondent's first visit to the page. If they navigate back to a previously visited page, the "Next" button is immediately available.

This enhancement ensures better compliance and a guided reading experience without frustrating users who are simply reviewing their previous answers.
